This is a great place if you like being at the beach. It's only one street away from the main street. It's a way of being in the action of Rehoboth Beach without having to deal with the crowds. The rooms are small, but the porch makes up for it. The owners are extremely nice and serve a great breakfast. They also provide cold drinks, crackers and coffee all day. They provide towels, coolers and chairs for the beach also.

My partner and I just got back from a week in Rehoboth and can't say enough good things about Royal Rose Inn. Andy, the owner, is what every B&B owner should be--warm, friendly, helpful, yet never intrusive or overbearing. Great guy. The location is amazing, the price point is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious with many options. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean. I loved hanging out on the enclosed porch--great place to relax, read, or people watch. Parking for each guest behind the building. We can't wait to go back!

Husband and I stayed at the Royal Rose Inn for a couple nights last week, and we had an awesome stay! This was my first b&b experience, and I definitely came into it with some vague fears re: overbearing innkeepers and mandatory group meals. RRI is NOTHING like that! Andy, the owner, was very friendly and available to help with anything we needed, and all the other guests seemed lovely. But mostly we just had a wonderful home-base we could return to between beach excursions -- a home-base with delicious breakfast, a fridge to keep our beers cold and a supply of towels, beach chairs, and coolers for our use. All the things you wish you had when you're staying in a hotel at the beach. In addition to a great atmosphere and lovely amenities, the location just can't be beat. 1 block from the beach, 1 block from Rehoboth ave, a 5 minute walk from everything you can imagine. And all that for a price that was less than any hotel or motel in the downtown Rehoboth area. I'm already thinking about my next trip!

We had a wonderful stay! Andy, the innkeeper, is very welcoming and helpful. The location can't be beat - just a block and a half from the beach and in the middle of the business district. The accommodations are comfy but not incredibly updated. It does have great charm. I highly recommend it!

This is our go-to B&B whenever we're heading to Rehoboth Beach. Simply put - t's incredibly convenient, very clean and worry free. For years, we'd stay at the different hotels around Rehoboth Beach, which meant the Husbear would spend excessive amounts of time driving. Doesn't that just spell awesome vacation to you? Yay. Let's sit in traffic with the Mallettes. Then we found the Royal Rose, which has parking spots for each and every guest. It's convenient for walking everywhere near the boardwalk and main drag as well as the gay bars (other than the Double L, but hey. Not our scene). The only reason we have for getting in our car now is to go to either Poodle Beach or Gordon's Pond. Otherwise, the car sits and we walk. The rooms aren't huge, but they are really nice. It's an older home, so each room has a window unit air conditioner. You may want to stop and pick up a bottle of shampoo, although there's always plenty of miniature bars of soap, towels, and Q-Tips. Andy and Greg run a very clean and quiet house, so you won't hear kids running around either. I mentioned only once to Andy that I was gluten intolerant and I don't know if he did this special, but every day we were there he made flour-free egg dishes. He's just that kind of thoughtful. We know we aren't alone in how our appreciation, either. We've run into other couples and friends who keep coming back to Royal Rose for special weekends. With so many restaurants nearby, the deck on top, the boardwalk and beaches that are walkable - you really can just park your car and relax. Whether you're a gay or straight couple, Andy and Greg will make you feel very comfortable and safe.

The RRI deserves an excellent for both location and cleanliness. Located approximately a block from both the beach and the main strip of Rehoboth, it is a quick walk to anywhere: restaurants, boardwalk, stores, arcades etc. Everything is very clean and fresh. The inn is located in a vintage beach bungalow and decorated in keeping. The shaded and screened front porch is very pleasant for breakfast, reading, and people watching. RRI also excels in service. In addition to the homemade breakfast, there was coffee, lemonade and snacks available throughout the day and evening, daily newspapers, books, games, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards etc.

This is a sweet little B&B that won't break the bank. Andy and Greg made us feel very at home. We appreciated the beachside conveniences including hot tub, outdoor shower, coolers, and beach toys. I appreciated the flexibility with breakfast, food and coffee were available at a decent time and we were able to pick what worked for us. My only wish is that the rooms had a little more ventilation. Our room was pretty hot and stuffy when we got in and it took a bit to cool off til it was comfortable.
